Alantra advises Change Capital Partners, a London-based private equity funds, in the sale of a majority stake in Paule Ka to Xavier Marie, the founder of Maisons du Monde, a home decoration and furniture retailer listed in Paris

Paule Ka is a unique brand which identity is synonymous of Parisian Chic, Modern Couture, Elegance and Creative Designs supported by its own Paris Atelier. Paule Ka offers a complete range of sophisticated ready-to-wear and accessories for women***

Founded in 1987 by Serge Cajfinger who successfully established Paule Ka as a reference brand in the Parisian fashion industry, the group is now present in over 40 countries through 13 owned stores across Europe and the US and thanks to its dense wholesale distribution network, especially across Asia and the Middle-East.

Through this operation, Xavier Marie intends to reinforce the brand identity by leveraging Paule Ka’s iconic and distinctive codes and to accelerate its international development in the US, Asia and South America.

Change Capital Partners will remain a minority shareholder of Paule Ka.

This operation marks Alantra’s fourth transaction in the fashion apparel sector within the last 18 months after those on Carven, Philippe Model and Charles Vögele.
