Alantra advises Lakeview Equity Partners on sale of NutriScience Innovations LLC to Tilia Holdings LLC

Boston – Alantra, a leading global investment bank and asset management firm, is pleased to announce that Lakeview Equity Partners has sold NutriScience Innovations LLC (“NutriScience”), a fast-growing nutritional ingredients company, to the Chicago-based private equity group, Tilia Holdings LLC. The transaction closed on April 21, 2021, and the value was not disclosed. Alantra acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Lakeview and NutriScience in this process.

Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Milford, Connecticut, NutriScience develops and markets branded, highly differentiated nutritional ingredients sourced from a global base of suppliers.  These ingredients address the needs of customers and consumers in key areas of wellness, including emotional well-being, immune function, cognitive performance and energy levels. The company utilizes a science-based, technical sales approach to market its ingredient solutions to leading brands in the dietary supplement, sports nutrition and beverage categories.  NutriScience’s management team will remain with the business and continue to execute on their strategy to drive growth through new, high-quality, proprietary product introductions and innovative marketing strategies.
