Paris – Alantra, the global investment banking and asset management firm, has advised La Française des Jeux (FDJ) in the acquisition of L’addition, a French specialist management, collection and payment solutions and payment solutions for cafés-hotels-restaurants (CHR).
Founded in 2012 and with over 10.000 retailers, L’Addition is one of the leading players in the French restaurant and catering network with 70 employees distributed between Paris and Bordeau. Its success is based on its comprehensive and scalable management services platform, its innovation strategy, its proximity to merchant users, and its ability to continuously secure the operation of a point of sale without losing data.
FDJ, founded in 1976, is France’s national lottery and leading gaming operator as well as the second biggest in Europe and the fourth worldwide.
This transaction follows the purchase of Aleda, a point-of-sale collection and payments solution firm, by FDJ in mid-July.
FDJ was advised by Florian Touchard and Pierre-Louis Nahon, Partners at Alantra, and their respective teams.
Florian Touchard said, “We are very pleased to have helped FDJ’s on their ambition of consolidating its new services business in both the bar, tobacconist, newsagent network, and the CHR network”.
