London – Alantra has acted as lead M&A advisor to Goldenpeak, a private equity firm specializing in high-growth business and information services, on its majority investment in ORS, a multidisciplinary built environment consultancy headquartered in Ireland.

Founded in 1991 as an engineering consultancy, ORS has grown over the past 35 years through strong organic growth and multiple integrated acquisitions. The firm provides specialist advisory, design, and compliance services across the building life cycle, with capabilities spanning Project Management & Advisory, Environmental, Engineering Design, Building Compliance, Architecture, and related disciplines.

Goldenpeak’s investment will support ORS’ next phase of growth, including the expansion of its service offering and the pursuit of value-enhancing acquisitions in Ireland, the UK, and internationally. The transaction reflects continued investor interest in scaled, specialist Business Services platforms operating in large, fragmented markets with sustained demand for technical expertise, compliance capabilities, and multidisciplinary delivery.

Alantra supported Goldenpeak throughout a competitive private equity auction process, providing corporate finance advice, leading transaction execution and significant execution support. The process required close coordination across multiple workstreams, enabling Goldenpeak to move with pace and conviction and align with ORS as the right partner for the company’s next stage of development. The transaction also highlights Alantra’s ability to deliver high-conviction buy-side mandates for private equity sponsors, combining deep sector expertise and rigorous transaction execution.

Robert Pearce, Head of Built Environment coverage at Alantra, said: “ORS combines deep technical expertise, a strong multidisciplinary model, and a clear runway for organic and acquisition-led growth. We are pleased to have supported Goldenpeak in a competitive and time-sensitive process, helping the team build conviction and execute at pace to secure a partnership aligned with ORS’ ambitions.”

This transaction further reinforces Alantra’s strong track record in the Built Environment advisory segment, following recent mandates including acting as sole buy-side financial advisor to Colliers on the acquisition of Ayesa Engineering from A&M Capital Europe, and advising Kent PLC on the acquisition of Sudlows Consulting.

Completion of the transaction remains subject to customary regulatory approvals.
