Italy – Alantra acted as the exclusive sell-side advisor to the shareholders of Istituto Volta, one of the leading players in the Italian professional training market with a strong IT and healthcare verticals, on the sale of the entire share capital to KYIP Capital, an Italian Private Equity player, through its fund dedicated to digital transformation.

Founded in 2010 by the Tittozzi family, Istituto Volta is an educational hub and it operates on a national scale through its 3 brands (Istituto Volta, Formamente and Pianeta Studio) and its offices in Milan, Rome, Naples and Bari, offering its students one-stop-shop solutions that include training & testing centres, certificate delivery and company placement. Istituto Volta provides both online and in-person courses in the IT and Healthcare sectors.

KYIP Capital is an independent fund management company founded by Luciano Hassan, Gianluca Losi and Carlo Privitera with assets under management exceeding € 160 million. KYIP Capital invests in growth buy-outs by acquiring the majority of the capital of high-potential Italian SMEs with solid and scalable business models, with a particular focus on Education and Information Technology.
