New York – Alantra has acted as exclusive financial advisor to GreenTek Solutions (“GreenTek”), a leading IT Asset Disposition (“ITAD”) service provider, on its investment from Sumitomo Corporation and Sumitomo Corporation of Americas (together, the “Sumitomo Corporation Group”), an integrated trading company with a global network comprising 125 offices across 63 countries and regions.

GreenTek is an IT equipment reuse and recycling company established in 2012 and headquartered in Texas, U.S. With a focus on the resale of data center equipment, the company provides a comprehensive range of services, including collection, data erasure, resale, and recycling, and has established a strong customer base among major U.S. corporations.

GreenTek has obtained several international certifications related to quality management, information security, and environmental compliance within the reuse and recycling industry. The company has also established rigorous data management and environmental compliance systems. Through its proprietary systems, GreenTek ensures traceability from the collection of IT equipment through final disposition, supporting a high level of reliability. With a track record of processing more than 1.2 million devices to date, GreenTek contributes to reducing electronic waste and mitigating greenhouse gas emissions.

Through this investment, the Sumitomo Corporation Group will support GreenTek’s business expansion and leverage the company’s expertise and service platform to create new business opportunities focused on maximizing value throughout the lifecycle of IT equipment. Using its business foundation in the United States as a springboard, the Group will pursue further international expansion, including in Japan, and promote the development of a circular supply chain through the reuse of IT equipment.

Joe Nau, Director at Alantra, said: “Under Anuar Garcia’s leadership, GreenTek has built a highly respected ITAD platform with a strong reputation for service, operational execution, and trusted customer relationships. The company is well positioned to benefit from increasing demand for secure and sustainable technology lifecycle solutions. We are proud to have advised GreenTek on this transaction and believe Sumitomo Corporation is the right partner to support the company’s next phase of growth.”

This transaction further reinforces Alantra’s global momentum across the Technology sector and marks its 12th Technology transaction in 2026. Recent transactions completed by Alantra’s U.S. team over the past 12 months include advising Brickhouse GPS on its sale to Grady Bay Capital; Denovo Ventures, a portfolio company of MC Partners, on its acquisition by Argano, backed by Trinity Hunt Partners; and GRAX on its sale to Ascendx.
