New York – Alantra acted as sell-side advisor to Anthony & Sons Bakery, a U.S.-based family-owned bakery with more than 40 years of heritage, on its sale to Brioche Pasquier, a leading French family-owned industrial bakery group with operations across more than 35 countries. 

Founded in New Jersey, Anthony & Sons produces artisanal European-style breads and rolls, serving national in-store bakery and regional foodservice customers with both frozen and fresh products. The transaction marks an important step in the company’s next phase of growth and brings together Anthony & Sons’ established U.S. bakery platform with Brioche Pasquier’s global expertise in high-quality bakery products. 

Alantra advised Anthony & Sons throughout the transaction, supporting the company and its shareholders in identifying the right strategic partner and executing a transaction aligned with the family’s objectives and the company’s long-term growth ambitions.
