Stockholm Alantra, the global investment banking and asset management specialist, has advised Vaaka Partners on the sale of EnerKey, a Finnish SaaS business focused on Energy and Sustainability Management, to EG, a Danish provider of vertical software backed by Francisco Partners.

EnerKey is a leader in software solutions (cloud-native SaaS) in the Nordic countries, supporting enterprises to manage resource data, energy consumption and sustainability, with their Sustainability & Energy Management System (SEMS).  EneryKey’s intelligent software analyzes and reports the consumption of 90+ types of resources (mainly electricity) and supports integration with 80+ relevant systems from Building Automation and Enterprise Resource Planning. Headquartered in Helsinki, EnerKey’s growth is expected to accelerate significantly through its internationalization to other Northern European markets, including Germany and the Netherlands.  

Based in Denmark, EG is a provider of vertical software backed by Francisco Partners. EG has more than 1,500 employees, working primarily from locations in Scandinavia and shared development centers in Poland and India. They develop, deliver and service their software to 21,000+ customers in the private and public sectors.
