Jonas Bauréus

Jonas Bauréus has more than 20 years of investment banking experience across a wide range of clients and transactions in the Nordic region.  A Swedish national, Mr. Bauréus started his career at Lehman Brothers in London in 2000 and he subsequently joined UBS (based both in London and in Stockholm).  His professional track record includes more than 50 M&A and capital markets transactions with an aggregate transaction value in excess in €35 billion.

Mr. Bauréus established Alantra’s Nordic presence during 2016 when he joined to set up the firm’s office in Stockholm.   During his tenure at Alantra, the firm has been involved in over 35 M&A transactions in the Nordic region and the team now includes 15 professionals across the Stockholm and Copenhagen offices.

He holds a M. Sc. In International Business Administration from the Gothenburg School of Economics (including exchange semester at the University of Edinburgh and the Universidad de Navarra, respectively).
