Alantra acted as sole financial advisor to RUAG, a Swiss technology group active in the aerospace and defense sectors, in the acquisition of the Defense activities of Ascom, a SIX-listed international solution provider with comprehensive technological know-how in mission-critical communication. Through the acquisition, RUAG will develop its competences in the area of network-enabled operations and will be able to offer communications solutions from a single source, ranging from development and production all the way through to maintenance.
