Paris – Alantra, a leading global investment bank and asset management firm, is pleased to announce it has acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Montefiore Investment and Pléiade Investissement in their public tender offer and related acquisition financing of Generix Group.
Founded in 1990, Generix is a leading French producer of supply chain management and B2B integration software listed on Euronext Paris. It operates in more than 60 countries supporting industrial customers, distributors and logistics service providers in the digital transformation of their supply chain and omnichannel sales. Its eight business units located in France and abroad, are structured in two main activities: supply chain execution software and B2B integration.
With over €2 billion of assets under management, Montefiore Investment supports entrepreneurs, managers, and shareholders in high-potential companies in equity transactions and growth projects.
Created in 2000, Pléiade Investissement invests with leading entrepreneurs, in SME or start-up companies.
Alantra supported Montefiore and Pléiade Investissement in all commercial and structural aspects of the transaction, including acquisition financing as well as regulatory requirements and discussions with the French financial market authority.
The public tender offer proved to be successful. Generix Group was squeezed out and financing was secured on the basis of a unitranche provided by an international direct lender, which offered highly competitive terms.
This transaction is another example of the synergies between Alantra’s Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and Debt Advisory expertise.
“This highly complex transaction is testament to how Alantra creates value for its clients. By combining several areas of expertise – Equity Capital Markets, Debt Advisory, and tech M&A, Alantra delivered a successful integrated advisory service,” highlighted by Oriane Durvye, Managing Partner at Alantra, Olivier Guignon, Managing Partner at Alantra, and Pierre-Louis Nahon, Partner at Alantra.
The team advising new Gen Holding was comprised of Oriane Durvye, Olivier Guignon, Pierre-Louis Nahon, Simon Berta, Andrea Bossetti and Adrien Toulemonde.
