Milan – Alantra, a leading global investment bank, and asset management firm, is pleased to announce it has advised the shareholders of DF Elettronica S.r.l. (the “Company”), a leading innovator in the Italian EMS space operating in the assembly and testing of electronic components, on the sale of a majority stake of the Company to the Italian private equity firm Gradiente SGR (“Gradiente”).

Founded in 1983 by Daniele Ciappi and Massimo Brogi, DF Elettronica is recognized as a leading-edge player in the Italian EMS space, with an impressive appetite for process automation, digitalization and production excellence. The Company is a highly critical and trusted partner of medium and large firms in the Industrial, Healthcare and ICT sectors.

Gradiente is an Italian private equity firm, widely known for its ability to combine financial skills with a strong entrepreneurial attitude, supporting the economic development of its portfolio companies through medium to long-term investments. Through its fund Gradiente II, Gradiente has invested in Italian SMEs operating in high growth potential businesses with solid fundamentals.
