Milan – Alantra, a leading global investment bank and asset management firm, has acted as nominated advisor in the merger between ICF Group SpA, a prominent operator in the design, manufacture and trading of adhesives and high-tech fabrics, listed on the AIM Italia, and its controlled entity Industrie Chimiche Forestali S.p.A.
This transaction aims to simplify the corporate structure of the group and to increase its cost efficiency. As part of the merger deal, a simultaneus listing process of Industrie Chimiche Forestali S.p.A ordinary shares and warrants on AIM Italia, the market dedicated to SMEs, has been carried out.
The ICF Group (Industrie Chimiche Forestali S.p.A. and Forestali de Mexico S.A.) designs, manufactures and trades adhesives and high-tech fabrics for the footwear and leather goods, automotive accessories and packaging markets. The company, founded in 1918, has ca.125 employees and carries out its own production exclusively at the plant in Marcallo con Casone, Milan (Italy).
