Alantra advises Grupo Planeta on a €100m private placement

Madrid – Alantra has advised Grupo Planeta, the leading Spanish communications and multimedia group, on the issuance of a €100m private placement with an 8.5 year tenor.
Alantra acted as sole Coordinator and Sole Bookrunner of the transaction.
Grupo Planeta is the leading family-owned Spanish communications and multimedia group and produces and distributes editorial, news, educational and entertainment content. Founded in 1949 in Barcelona by the Lara family, today it is present in more than 25 countries and is the leading publishing group in Spain and Latin America, the second largest one in France and it figures among the main leaders in publishing in Europe.
