Overview
Alantra is seeking to hire an Investment Banking Vice President to help support its M&A and capital raising advisory business within the Aerospace & Defense sector. The position is located in Boston, MA, or New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of Industrials M&A experience with the ability to immediately and meaningfully impact the team, while also engaging thoughtfully with Alantra's training and onboarding practices. Role / Responsibilities
Vice Presidents represent our firm as both a business developer and executor. They must demonstrate professional judgement and are expected to become capable of handling any assignment on their own. Vice Presidents determine project tactics, develop strategy, and conduct negotiations. They must demonstrate credibility, high level interpersonal skills, and facility in verbal and written communications. Main responsibilities include:
Manage mandates, direct project teams, and build M&A process expertise
Perform execution activities such as drafting buy-side and sell-side documentation, analyzing industries and companies, and developing client presentations
Interact comfortably and build relationships with the full range of third-party professional advisors (legal, tax, accounting) and senior management teams at client companies
Interpret and effectively present financial analysis, company valuation and modeling, and M&A-related documentation
Communicate frequently with each project team and be continually aware of each mandate's progress
Maintain an appropriate balance among delegation, performing the work itself, and supervision
Supervise Associates and Analysts, and facilitate their learning of the M&A process

Alantra's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is a base compensation band of $190,000 - $215,000. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus in addition to the base salary. The Alantra UK Real Estate team is searching for an Associate to join a high performing group of individuals to execute a raft of quality mandates that have recently been secured.
The Real Estate team’s focus is across M&A and capital raising (debt and equity), across its 3 core sectors: Residential, Healthcare and Hospitality.
This specific role is for someone with a good technical background in real estate, who has experience in M&A and capital raising across relevant asset classes. Full pitch to completion execution and project management experience is desired, with good modelling and powerpoint skills. Role description:
Alantra is currently seeking a Finance Associate to join its dynamic and collaborative team based in London.

The candidate will support our UK and certain international entities in all related financial reporting matters including:
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting cycle for multiple legal entities across the UK and non-UK businesses, ensuring they are completed within the internal and external reporting deadlines
- Reporting on your areas of responsibility in the context of the wider group consolidation
- Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with local GAAP requirements and assist with external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits
- For the UK this will include ensuring the correct treatment of revenue and expenses and journal entries to complete the financial accounts
- For the international businesses, this will include overseeing the local outsourcers to ensure they have all necessary information, deadlines are met and having an understanding of the financial reporting movements in each jurisdiction
- Manage the monthly balance sheet reconciliation process, ensuring all accounts are reconciled in a timely manner and implement new accounting standards as needed
- Drive continuous improvement and automation by designing and implementing new processes as well as internal controls to incorporate evolving business needs and reporting requirements
- Assisting the preparation of quarterly VAT returns and regulatory filings; corporation tax and transfer pricing matters
- Providing support to some company secretarial requirements
Requirements
- Experience in a finance function, preferably within financial reporting
- Postgraduate finance qualification (e.g. ACA) strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but open to candidates with alternative experiences
- Strong interest in banking and financial services

- Strong Microsoft Excel skills; proficient in the use of the rest of the Microsoft Office suite

As a FIG Credit Solutions Analyst based in Dublin, you will work in a highly entrepreneurial and inspiring environment and become an integral part of our FIG team with primary focus on FIG Credit and Structured Finance transactions in the region.
The day-to-day tasks will include:
