Alantra Asset Management Activity Review 2025

SPW Fabrics, Spain’s leading manufacturer of technical fabrics for sportswear, swimwear, workwear, and industrial applications and an Alantra Private Equity portfolio company since 2024, has partnered with M.I.T.I. Manifattura Italiana Tessuti Indemagliabili S.p.a (“MITI”), a leading family-owned Italian producer of warp-knitted technical fabrics. The transaction brings together two sector champions to create one of Europe’s most comprehensive and innovative technical fabrics platforms.

The European Investment Fund (EIF), the arm of the European Investment Bank Group (EIB Group) specialised in equity investments in small and medium firms (SMEs) and mid-caps, has pledged €70 million to Alantra’s next energy transition growth fund Klima Energy Fund II (“Klima2”). Klima2 will focus on scaling technologies critical to Europe’s energy transition and will invest in a portfolio of about twelve fast-growing companies across the continent.

N-Sun Energy, one of the fastest-growing solar development platforms in Europe, created by Alantra Solar, has signed a €355mn green financing agreement with Intesa Sanpaolo, through its Italian subsidiary N-Sun Energy Advisors Italy 2 S.r.l. In parallel, it has secured a €50mn corporate financing facility with Bankinter, guaranteed by CESCE. This facility will provide the necessary resources to complete N-Sun Energy’s investment program and strengthen the platform’s financial structure.
