Zhongmin Pi joined Alantra in early 2020. He has advised Chinese corporations such as CDB, GCL and Meihua in cross border transactions. His career in banking started in Morgan Stanley Beijing where he was trained for the Chinese M&A market. Later he joined Lincoln International as one of the founding members of its China office. Before joining Alantra, he spent 4 years in New York and Palo Alto, co-founded a firm where he facilitated and managed multiple successful investments such as Compass, Guardant Health, Crispr Therapeutics, Hiretual and multiple Manhattan-based real estate projects.
Before working in financial service, Zhongmin was the lead developer at RiskFirst (later acquired by Moody’s), a London based financial technology company.
Zhongmin holds an MSc in Financial Mathematics from the University of Warwick and a BSc in Computer Science from Beihang University.
