Roberto Marantidis

Roberto Marantidis joined Alantra in April 2021 as a Managing Director in London covering UK and European Financials. Roberto has more than fifteen years of experience in finance, focusing on the origination and execution of M&A, Equity Capital Markets and Debt Capital Markets transactions for financial institutions in the Eurozone and the UK. Prior to joining Alantra, Roberto worked for AXIA Ventures Group as the Head of FIG and UBS as a Director in the EMEA FIG Investment Banking team.

Roberto has advised both sell-side and buy-side clients across a wide range of transactions involving financial institutions, including majority and minority acquisitions and disposals, mergers (public and private), growth equity (for Fintech and challenger banks) and distress equity capital raisings (both listed and private) and multiple transactions involving the deployment of Government capital to support banking systems.

Roberto holds an MSc degree in Economic and Social Sciences from Bocconi University​ and a BSc in Government and Economics from London School of Economics. Roberto has also completed the Oxford Fintech Programme at Oxford Saïd Business School.
