Matt Kumeta

Matt Kumeta is a Director and a key member of Alantra’s UK Real Assets team, with a particular focus on healthcare real asset transactions. He joined the firm in 2016 and has more than 10 years of experience, having closed over 30 M&A transactions and delivered a broad range of capital raising and strategic advisory solutions for institutional investors, private shareholders, and corporates.

He was instrumental in the delivery of Therme Group’s €1.5bn strategic joint venture with CVC in June 2025. His recent experience also includes advising on the sale of Outcomes First Group’s adult residential services division to Achieve together, the sale of New Care to Lovett Care, the sale of Ideal Carehomes to HC-One, and Home From Home Care’s ground rent transaction with Alpha Real Capital. He has developed deep sector expertise and is the lead author of the Specialist Care Fast 50, a market-leading publication tracking the UK’s fastest-growing businesses across specialist care, SEN schools, and complex mental health services.

Matt holds a Master’s degree with Distinction in Banking and Finance from Queen Mary, University of London, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Birmingham.
