Juan Lorenzo de Navascués

Juan Lorenzo de Navascués has over 30 years of experience in the industrials sector, with a particular focus on the automotive industry. Most recently, he served as the Global President of the Operations Steering Committee and as the Spain Country Head of SaarGummi Group, which comprises 17 production plants and employs 6,000 people worldwide. Before that, he held positions at Eaton Aeroquip and Nissan, among others.

As an Operating Partner at Alantra Private Equity, Juan Lorenzo supports management teams in implementing operational transformation strategies, optimizing the supply chain, and improving production organization and efficiency. He specializes in Industrial Tech, a key vertical for Alantra Private Equity, as demonstrated by the four investments made through Alantra PEF III in Hiperbaric, Salto, ROQ and MD Moldes.

Juan Lorenzo formed part of different Boards and Executive Committees throughout his professional career, such as the AHK German Chamber of Commerce, the AEDHE Association of Employers in the Henares industrial zone, and the National Consortium of Rubber Industries. Currently, he remains active as the President of the Industry Committee at AEDHE and as a member of the National Observatory for Industry 4.0. Additionally, he teaches Masterclasses at the ICAI Master of Connected Industry and the UCLM-PWN for the Master of Digital & Human Leadership (LDH).

Juan Lorenzo holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Comillas University (ICAI), Madrid, and a master’s degree in automotive engineering from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales, Madrid.
