Joel Grau

Joel Grau is the Managing Partner, Chairman & CEO of FIG and a member of the Alantra Group Executive Committee.

With over 25 years of experience in the financial sector, Joel co-founded Alantra’s FIG franchise in 2014 and has been instrumental in its development into a leading international advisory platform. He has driven the business strategic growth, product diversification, and expansion across key European markets, including the launch of its Structured Finance and ABS Advisory platform and the extension of its FIG M&A practice in Europe.

He has also played a central role in Alantra’s inorganic growth strategy, co-leading the acquisition and integration of several businesses, particularly within the PropTech and Credit Advisory sectors.

Joel has extensive experience advising banks, asset managers, governments, insurers, and investment funds on landmark M&A, credit, and real estate transactions across Europe and Latam. Before joining Alantra, he co-led the Portfolio Solutions Group for KPMG and PwC Iberia. He is based in Madrid.

Joel Grau holds a Degree in Management and Business Administration (UAO) and a Master in Business Administration (ESADE Business School).
