Fernando Fernández-Kelly

Fernando Fernández-Kelly is a Managing Director at Alantra FIG, where he has been part of the team since 2014. Fernando currently advises banks and other financial institutions on their asset rotation strategy, mainly through portfolio sales and asset-backed financings, leading the Structured Finance and Asset-Backed Solutions (SFABS) area.

Over the past 11 years, Fernando has played a key role in some of the most significant divestment transactions in Iberia, covering performing, non-performing, and REO portfolios with a total face value exceeding €25 billion. Notable transactions include Project Salmon (850€m Consumer Performing Loans), Project Tordesillas (800€m Performing Mortgages), Project Coliseum & Challenger (€9.3bn of REOs), Project Hercules (€6.3bn of secured mortgages), and Projects Juno & Hera (€5.0bn of unsecured NPLs).

Fernando holds dual degrees in Law and Business Administration & Management (ICADE E-3, Universidad Pontificia Comillas) and an EMBA from IESE Business School.
