Differentiation is an enduring challenge for all businesses, no matter the industry, but perhaps nowhere is the issue felt so keenly as it is in the consulting industry.

This article is the first in a four-part collaboration with Source Global Research, examining some of the biggest challenges facing the consulting industry today.

Source Global has carried out research over the last five years which suggests a convergence within the market, and their clients have said that they struggle to tell the difference between one firm and its peers.
