Alantra has advised the McCambridge Group on the sale of Soreen to Samworth Brothers.

Soreen is an ambient food brand manufacturing malt loaf from a single site bakery in Manchester and is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. Having earned the trust and loyalty of UK consumers since 1939, the product range has developed in recent years to include exciting new flavours, ‘food to go’ and breakfast products.

Samworth Brothers is a family-owned 118 year old Leicestershire-based manufacturer of own-label and branded chilled food products ranging from ready meals and savoury pasties to sandwiches and desserts.
