Lisbon – Alantra, a leading global investment bank and asset management firm, has successfully advised Millennium bcp, the largest private bank in Portugal, on the sale of the risk of re-performing and non-performing corporate and SME credit exposures with a total unpaid balance of approximately €250 million.
The portfolio consists of large corporate and SME credit exposures predominantly secured by real estate, with a significant concentration in the top three names. Investor could onboard the loans into their designated vehicle and down the line subscribe a Unitranche issuance from a Portuguese securitization vehicle (STC).
