Alantra advises Climashield on its sale to Crown Capital Investments
Boston – Alantra, a leading global investment bank and asset management firm, is pleased to announce that it has advised Harvest Consumer Insulation, LLC (d/b/a Climashield), the only provider of lightweight continuous filament insulation, on its sale to Crown Capital Investments, an Atlanta-based private investment firm focused on “growing great businesses” across a range of industries. The transaction closed on December 20, 2021, and the transaction terms were not disclosed.
Based in Clinton, Tenn., Climashield designs and manufactures highly engineered, high-performance synthetic thermal insulation materials using continuous filament insulation, a unique raw material and process technology that provides superior thermal insulation efficiencies. Climashield’s advanced “Made in the USA” products are utilized in a range of demanding product applications including cold weather sleep systems for the military and recreation, flame retardant energy barriers for shelters, poncho liners, performance outerwear, technical workwear, and tactical/hunting apparel throughout global markets.
