Alantra has advised Bravo Invest on the sale of 100% of the share capital of Eurochiller, an Italian cooling systems specialist, to Atlas Copco AB, a Swedish compressor and vacuum pumps producer.

Based in Mortara, Italy, Eurochiller has approximately 90 employees and had revenues of approximately €26m in 2018. The company manufactures and services industrial cooling and heat treatment products as well as the related systems used in industrial manufacturing processes.

Atlas Copco is a Swedish-based provider of compressors, pumps, generators and other industrial solutions serving customers in 180 countries worldwide. Listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange since 1920, Atlas has a current market cap of roughly €30bn.

Eurochiller will become part of the Oil-free Air division within Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business area. With this acquisition, the group expects to complement and expand its existing product. Bravo Capital is managed by Bravo Invest srl, which was founded by Mauro Vacchini and Fabio Galli and led by director Giovanni Saccaggi. Bravo Capital invested in Eurochiller in February 2016. This is the first divestment for the Bravo Capital fund.
