Alantra acted as Nomad, Global Coordinator and Bookrunner in ATON Green Storage’s IPO

Milan – Alantra, the global investment banking and asset management specialist, has acted as as Nominated Advisor (“NOMAD”), Global Coordinator and Bookrunner of ATON Green Storage (“ATON” or “the Company”) on its IPO on AIM Italia.
ATON is a leading Italian producer of Residential Battery Energy Storage Systems (RBESS), providing diverse benefits to consumers and grid operations, such as self-consumption increase, electricity bill reduction and diverse advantages for Electric Vehicles (EVs). ATON has become an Italian leader in the production of RBESS, leveraging on a long expertise in industrial applications. The Company’s products, powered by proprietary software, compete with those of international players, including Sonnen and Tesla. ATON has strong credentials with large multiutilities such as ENEL, Sunzil and Sorgenia and it is growing with installation companies RBESSs.
The Company’s reference market is expected to expand, driven by new solar PV capacity, government incentives, sharp decline of components’ price and ramp-up of EVs. Italian installed capacity of RBESS, currently 0.17 GWh, is ambitiously planned to reach 2.3GWh in 2025 and 6.0GWh in 2030.
