Alantra reinforces its Real Estate practice with the addition of Juan Velayos as Managing Partner

Madrid – Alantra, the independent global mid-market investment banking and alternative asset management firm, today announced the hire of Juan Velayos as Managing Partner. With over 20 years’ experience, Mr. Velayos will be responsible for further developing the strategies and geographic reach of Alantra’s real estate practice.

His deep expertise, developed through leading top real estate companies and advising on high-profile transactions in this segment, will be of great value as we continue to grow our practice and global reach.” Prior to joining Alantra, Mr. Velayos was CEO of Spanish property developer Neinor Homes. Previously, he headed PwC’s global and Spanish real estate practice. He also was CEO of public real estate company Renta Corporación, and a partner at Uría Menéndez Abogados, where he worked in the M&A, Capital Markets and Real Estate practices.
