Alantra strengthens its global Healthcare practice with Managing Director hire in London

London, 09 July 2026 – Alantra, the independent global mid-market financial services firm, has strengthened its Healthcare Investment Banking team with the appointment of Dr. Julian Feneley as Managing Director, based in London.
Julian has over 30 years of healthcare industry experience, including investment banking, C-suite roles at healthcare companies, and work as a medical doctor. He has deep experience advising clients across social and specialist care providers, medical products and devices, medical equipment, healthcare IT, life sciences tools, healthcare distribution and logistics, lab services, and outsourced pharma services sectors. He joins Alantra from Harris Williams, where he was a Managing Director, Head of Healthcare & Life Sciences Europe. Before that, he was Head of Healthcare and Life Sciences Investment Banking Europe at Macquarie Group and at Canaccord Genuity, Inc. He started his Investment Banking career at J.P. Morgan in London.
In his new role, Julian will drive the continued expansion of Alantra’s Healthcare advisory capabilities in the UK and across Europe, working closely with the firm’s global sector specialists to support corporates, entrepreneurs, and financial sponsors. His appointment further reinforces London’s role as one of Alantra’s key Investment Banking hubs and reflects the firm’s continued investment in deep sector expertise, integrated advisory coverage, and cross-border execution capabilities.
