Alantra strengthens its Equity Research team with Senior Analyst Juan Cánovas

Madrid, 10 December 2024 – Alantra Equities has bolstered its equity research capabilities by hiring Juan Cánovas, a highly regarded and award-winning senior analyst. This appointment reflects Alantra’s commitment to enhancing its equities and research franchise in Spain and Portugal, reinforcing its position as the leading independent Iberian broker.
Juan brings over 25 years of experience in the Spanish small and mid-sized companies market. He joins Alantra from Bankinter Luxembourg and has previously held roles at Altair Finance AM, Fidentiis, Cazenove, and NatWest Markets. Among his numerous accolades, he was ranked #1 in the “Iberian Small & Mid Caps” category in the EXTEL survey (formerly Institutional Investor Research), a prestigious ranking that draws input from hundreds of industry professionals across Europe.
