Milan – Alantra, the independent global mid-market financial services firm, has strengthened its Equity Capital Markets team with the appointment of Luca Arena as Head of Italian Equity Research, who will be based in Milan.
Luca has over 25 years’ experience both in domestic and international financial institutions, having covered listed mid cap companies, taking part in several IPO, SPAC and Pre-Booking Company listing processes. Previously, Luca was Head of Equity Research at CFO SIM, a leading Italian investment banking boutique, and has spent several years as senior analyst at Berenberg, Mediobanca, and Cheuvreux.
In Italy, Alantra specializes in providing equity capital markets services to mid-sized companies, offering execution and research services for equity capital markets transactions. Alantra’s Italian ECM team is committed to enhancing visibility, supporting growth and value creation, and connecting a large base of selected institutional investors to Italian mid-market companies.
Luca’s extensive experience in covering listed mid cap companies will help Alantra strengthen its franchise in Italy and the appointment represents a new milestone in the Group’s growth story in the Italian ECM market, which Alantra covers with a team of over 10 professionals executing both IPOs and corporate broking services.
