Alantra ranks as 16th European M&A advisor in Q3 2016 by transaction value and 20th by number of transactions in the preliminary rankings of the third quarter of the year.
In this period, Alantra advised in 44 M&A transactions with a volume of over US$51bn.
The most noteworthy transactions advised in the present year include the following (client in italic): the acquisition by US firm Lindsay of German Schur Flexibles from Capiton, the CHF 511bn recommended public purchase and exchange offer by AFG on Looser Holding (both Swiss based), the merger of Italian La Fortezza with Swedish listed group ITAB for €105mn, the €42bn public tender offer to Swiss Syngenta from ChemChina, the sale of a 25% stake of Spanish Roca in German Duravit and the sale of Gamber-Johnson to Main Street Capital Corporation by listed Legget & Platt(both US based).
