Nick is Managing Partner in FIG. Prior to this, Nick was a partner at KPMG where he was a member of the global Portfolio Solutions Group but also led Deal Advisor’s Banking practice for the UK and a member of KPMG’s Deal Advisory Leadership team.

Nick is currently based in London and in addition to working in the UK, he has led NPE and distressed banking projects in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Greece, Cyprus, Romania, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and China.

Some key highlights over the past 10 years include:

– Advised numerous systemic banks in the countries above on designing and implementing their non core and non performing loan deleveraging agenda (GBV in excess of €50bn);

– Advised banks and private equity funds on transactions involving the carve out and sale of NPE servicing companies;

– Structured and co-arranged the first NPE securitisation under the EBA’s new guidance in Cyprus in 2018 (Project Helix) and in Greece in 2018 (Project Pillar);

– Assisted Barclays to establish and transfer £115bn RWA to its non core division in 2014;

Nick completed his bachelors at Monash University where he majored in Accounting and Finance and Psychology and is a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
