Andrew Shellard

Andrew is a partner with over 30 years of investment banking experience in corporate acquisition finance and sponsor leveraged finance. As head of debt capital markets in the UK, Andrew brings an extensive track record of helping businesses access both new sources of debt capital and manage existing debt facilities. Prior to Alantra, he worked at several leading investment banks, and most recently at Barclays Capital where he was global head of debt advisory and one of the senior managing directors working in European leveraged finance. Before starting his career in investment banking, Andrew was a graduate in Politics, Philosophy and Economics and trained as a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC).
