London, January 14th, 2019 – Alantra, a global investment banking and asset management firm, is pleased to welcome James (“Jim”) Fadel as Managing Director to enhance its European ABS and structured finance capabilities. Jim brings with him over 25 years of experience in structured finance and ABS in Europe and the US and will be based in the Firm’s London office.
Jim founded and lead Deloitte’s Structured Finance Advisory practice in Europe, where he helped raise senior and junior capital for a variety of clients, from newly established specialty finance companies to Footsie 100 corporates. Prior to Deloitte, Jim was Head of EMEA Structured Debt Capital Markets at Jefferies International (2010-2015) and Head of European ABS at Morgan Stanley (1996-2008). Previously, Jim worked in the US at Prudential Securities (1993-1996) and Citibank (1986-1993).
