Alantra has advised Sierra Blanca, a family owned Real Estate Developer, on a €55m Senior Secured Financing for a Prime Residential Development in Spain.
Founded in 1986 and based in Marbella, Sierra Blanca designs and markets high quality, luxury properties designed using pioneering technologies.
The financing will be deployed in the following 3 Projects:
•Epic Marbella: 108 high-end apartments, to be built in four phases in the premier area of Marbella.
•Torres del Rio: 200 apartments consisting of 3 towers over 21 floors, through a JV with Metrovacesa.
•Lomas del Sur: 111 luxury apartment complexes in collaboration with Fendi on land adjacent to EPIC Marbella.
This is the third time Alantra has facilitated a transaction of this type between a Spanish developer and a foreign financier. In this case, the chosen financier is a British fund specialized in credit, who granted the money to give Sierra Blanca the time it needs to develop the projects. Alantra maintains its leadership in the Spanish alternative real estate development financing market with over €500m of new alternative money raised over the past 3 years.
