Josh Garver and David Waldstein promoted to Director

Chris DiPietro, Pablo Gonzalez-Arias and Jon Tetirick promoted to Vice President

Boston– Alantra, a global corporate finance and asset management group, is pleased to announce the promotions of the following Boston-based employees: Josh Garver and David Waldstein to Director, and Chris DiPietro, Pablo Gonazalez-Arias and Jon Tetirick to Vice President. All promotions were effective as of September 30, 2016.

Josh Garver joined Alantra as an Associate in 2012 a before being promoted to Vice President in 2014. Mr. Garver spent four years at Venturi & Company, a middle market investment bank based in the San Francisco Bay Area, working on M&A, capital raising, and restructuring transactions. Mr. Garver holds a BA from Columbia University and an MBA from the Wharton School, where he was a Palmer Scholar.

David Waldstein started as an Associate with Alantra in 2010 and was promoted to Vice President in 2014. Previously, Mr. Waldstein was a Finance Associate at SES Advisors where he provided corporate finance advisory services in industries ranging from construction to energy to consumer goods. Mr. Waldstein received his MBA from the Samuel Curtis Johnson School at Cornell University and his BA from Union College.

Chris DiPietro started with Alantra in late 2010 as Analyst and was promoted to Associate in 2013. He previously worked in the valuation advisory services group at Duff and Phelps. He has made key contributions as a transaction team member for several clients, including Novozymes, Dorma, Triarco and G&T Conveyor. Mr. DiPietro received his Bachelor of Science degree from Bentley University.

Pablo Gonzalez-Arias, a dual US-Spanish citizen, transferred to Boston from Alantra’s Madrid office in early 2016 as part of the firm’s employee exchange program. He joined Alantra in late 2013 and was previously an Assistant Manager in Deloitte’s M&A Transaction Services department. He holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration and Master’s degree in Auditing from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, Spain.

Prior to joining Alantra in 2013, Jon Tetirick spent six years leading divestiture and acquisition assignments for Inner Circle Sports, a NY-based boutique investment bank focused on the sports, media and entertainment industries. Prior to ICS, Mr. Tetirick spent two years completing leveraged buyouts for HIG Capital and two years with Edgeview Partners, a middle-market investment bank. He received his Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, from Davidson College.
