Madrid \u2013<\/strong> Alantra has acted as Joint Global Coordinator to Savannah Resources on its minimum $36mn fundraise to support the continued development of the Barroso Lithium Project in northern Portugal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is strategically important to Europe\u2019s critical materials agenda and Portugal\u2019s economy and ambition to develop a domestic lithium value chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fundraise was completed through an accelerated bookbuilding process, generating strong demand and resulting in a significantly oversubscribed placing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andr\u00e9 Pereira-Ambrosio<\/a>, Managing Director at Alantra, said: \u201cIt has been a pleasure to support Savannah Resources once again on this important milestone for the Barroso Lithium Project. This marks the third transaction in which Alantra has worked with the company over the past 18 months, reflecting our continued confidence in the project and our commitment to supporting Savannah as it advances. This transaction further strengthens Alantra\u2019s Equity Capital Markets track record in Iberia, following recent roles as Joint Bookrunner on TSK\u2019s<\/a> \u20ac150mn IPO, Sole Global Coordinator on Grupo Ezentis\u2019<\/a> c.\u20ac7.94mn rights issue to support its growth plan, Co-Lead Manager on Blackstone\u2019s<\/a> c.3.6% stake sale in Cirsa through an accelerated bookbuild, Co-Lead Manager on Merlin Properties\u2019<\/a> \u20ac768mn capital increase to support its data center expansion strategy, and Joint Bookrunner on a landmark accelerated bookbuild for Izertis<\/a>.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n
