Alantra establishes local presence in the Nordic region through the opening of an office in Stockholm

Stockholm– Jonas Bauréus has joined Alantra as Managing Partner of the Stockholm office. Mr. Bauréus has a long established track record in the Nordic region, which he has built for over 15 years in the investment banking industry. Prior to joining Alantra, amongst other positions, he was Director of Lehman Brothers, Executive Director of UBS and Managing Director and Founder of Northern Lights, a mid-market M&A advisory boutique focusing on Nordic and Middle East cross-border transactions.

Mr. Bauréus’ long-standing career will add valuable knowledge to Alantra’s team and will enable the firm to benefit from the growth prospects in this vibrant middle market geography for corporates and private equity. Mr. Bauréus said “Alantra has a truly global and integrated footprint combined with deep expertise across industry sectors. This value proposition resonates well with Nordic clients, that typically have global business models and a high degree of sophistication.” He will closely work together with Alantra’s German team, which has been quite active in Norway and Sweden over the past several years.
