Alantra advised Colisée, a portfolio company of IK Investment Partners, on the acquisition of 24 nursing homes from GDP Vendôme

With the support of its majority shareholder IK Investment Partners, Colisée continues its development in France and acquires 12 nursing homes from GDP Vendôme. This operation follows a previous similar acquisition in April 2017.
This portfolio meets Colisée’s selective investment criteria. Composed of quality facilities, it helps strengthen Colisée’s presence in the French PACA and Aquitaine regions and additionally provides opportunities for developing service residences, which are an alternative solution between life at home and life in a nursing home.
Colisée intends to rapidly integrate these 12 new facilities, along with their staff and residents, thus leveraging on its post-acquisition expertise and on MyColisée, its private and secure social network.
Led by Christine Jeandel since 2014, Colisée has strongly increased its presence in the French market and abroad (Spain and Italy), counting today 102 nursing homes and more than 8,000 beds. “The symbolic threshold of 100 facilities, that we have crossed today, shows that the Colisée teams have the ability to turn growth opportunities into reality in a European market undergoing consolidation.” comments Christine Jeandel, CEO of Colisée.
