Alantra enters Austria and CEE through the opening of a new office in Vienna

Alantra, the independent global mid-market investment banking and asset management firm, enters the CEE market through the incorporation of an investment banking team in Vienna

Klaus Vukovich, who previously was global co-head of Corporate Finance Advisory at UniCredit and brings with him over 18 years’ investment banking experience, will head Alantra Austria & CEE. He is joined by Victor Karadjov, who comes from Raiffeisen Bank International, with over 14 years of investment banking experience

This incorporation means also a further reinforcement of Alantra’s capabilities in the DACH region, where it ranked as No.9 M&A player in H1 2017, according to Mergermarket. In this region, the firm already has strong local teams in Frankfurt and Zurich

With the opening of the office in Vienna, the firm expands its presence to offices in 21 countries, including the main financial centers across Europe, the US, Latin America and Asia

Vienna– Alantra, the independent global mid-market investment banking and asset management firm, has entered the Austrian & CEE markets by means of the incorporation of a new investment banking office in Vienna. This new office demonstrates Alantra’s interest in and commitment to this European region and is also a reinforcement of Alantra’s capabilities in the DACH area, where it ranked as No.9 M&A player in H1 2017, according to Mergermarket[1]. In this region, Alantra is already present through strong local teams in Frankfurt and Zurich.

Alantra Austria & CEE will work closely with Alantra’s Frankfurt and Zurich offices to reinforce the services in mid-market investment banking in the DACH region whilst further nurturing the group’s cross-border ambitions.

Klaus Vukovich, who previously was global co-head of Corporate Finance Advisory at UniCredit and brings with him over 18 years’ investment banking experience, will head Alantra Austria & CEE. He is joined by Victor Karadjov, who comes from Raiffeisen Bank International, with over 14 years of investment banking experience. The team will grow in the coming months by adding senior as well as junior M&A professionals with diverse sector and geographical backgrounds across the region.
